OVERVIEW

During my academic journey at Iowa State University, I was presented with the unique challenge of conceptualizing and designing a festival. Inspired by the rich diversity of people and cultures I encountered in college, I recognized a widespread lack of understanding about global cultures, a gap I was eager to bridge. Driven by this insight, I envisioned a festival that would not only celebrate but deeply immerse participants in the myriad of cultures from around the world.

In a time when global unity is more crucial than ever, with the world grappling with numerous challenges, this festival concept aimed to foster a sense of togetherness and shared humanity. The festival was designed as a vibrant, engaging platform for cultural exchange and understanding, a celebration that would transcend geographical and cultural boundaries to bring people together.

This project was more than just an assignment; it was a reflection of my belief in the power of design to unite and educate. Through this festival, I aspired to create an experience that would enlighten, entertain, and inspire, contributing to a more connected and empathetic world.
